Sewer Jet Truck Poly Tanks

Our parent company, United Plastic Fabricating, boasts decades of experience satisfying the fire truck industry’s needs for custom water tanks. This directly translated into our success in supplying hydroblasting (jetter) tanks within the sewer jet truck vertical with Custom Plastic Fabrications, LLC. We help OEM’s maximize vehicle space, and for end-users, our tanks add more resale value. For safety reasons, we install interior baffles to reduce sloshing greatly. Moreover, our rust-proof plastic is much easier to clean (as opposed to aluminum or steel).

CPF Sewer Jet Truck Tank Benefits

Poly Jetter Tanks Use Baffling to Reduce Sloshing While Increasing Safety

Our tank baffling system is the strongest in the industry. The baffled water tanks limit the water movement inside the tank to limit sloshing and reduce the odds of a vehicle tipping. Baffling also helps with quicker braking/stopping. Additionally, baffling can help you lower vehicle maintenance costs due to less wear and tear on chassis, suspension, and shocks.

Poly Jetter Tanks are Lighter Weight

Polypropylene tanks reduce your GVW, allowing more carrying capacity. Besides that, it may provide you the option to hire non-CDL drivers. This may reduce labor costs and opens up a much larger pool of candidates. Additionally, it could enable operators to carry more product, reducing refilling trips. This would save on gas, mileage, wear and tear (and time). More efficient jetter tanks will make your business more profitable.

Poly Jetter Tanks Are More Durable than Aluminum Sewer/Jetter Tanks

Unlike stainless or aluminum sewer jetter tanks, hydroblasting, or street sweeper tanks made out of polypropylene plastic are resistant to denting. Polypropylene is tough because it can deform without breaking. You can hit it with a hammer to prove its toughness. Polypropylene tanks are incredibly durable, and they will look good and last for many, many years.

Poly Surfaces Are Much Easier to Clean than Aluminum Surfaces

Polypropylene is a homogeneous material. Poly’s chemical composition protects itself against contamination due to its excellent chemical resistance. Since plastic is rust-free, you don’t have to worry about your Jetter tanks corroding. Its chemical resistance protects it from many organic solvents, acids, and alkalines. Additionally, it is easy to clean your poly tank, saving many man-hours over the life of each vehicle.

More Friendly to the Environment

CPF engages in a wide range of green initiatives that demonstrate our commitment to doing business in an environmentally responsible manner. Learn more about our Green and Lean Initiatives.

CPF Reclaims Material

Following our environmental responsibilities, we reclaim cut material in our factories and weld together to form additional sheets for more work. Thus, significantly reducing unnecessary waste. Also, the scrap material is reground with the supplier and recycled for future use.

We Have a Field Service Team for On-Site Repairs

Our team of technicians comes directly to you for any repair needs. Each technician has the knowledge and skills to remedy any problem with your sewer Jetter tank. Learn more about our field service team.

Why Custom Fabrication of your Sewer Jet Truck Poly Tank?

The Custom Fabrication of your Poly Jetter, hydroblasting, or street sweeper allows you to have the perfect tank that matches your truck design. With a custom fabrication process, you can design any specific size, hose positionings, and any other requirements that you may need. Additionally, this can help you avoid expensive and temporary molds because we are custom and don’t require a mold. If you are looking for specific measures and want to customize your Jetter tank, your poly Jetter’s custom fabrication is a great solution.

Moreover, our engineers and designers can collaborate with you to improve results and devise such a design, ensuring your next project will be a success. We design each tank according to your specifications and drawing submittal. Engineers nest product designs to keep scrap to a minimum and to avoid any material waste. After approving the drawing, we’ll start the production of your poly Sewer Jetter, hydroblasting, or street sweeper tank.

Additionally, if you are still manufacturing your own tanks, outsourcing to us will free up your manpower and floor space. Given that labor is a huge expense, this can allow you to focus on your core business better. Also, a polytank is much cheaper than a stainless steel tank. Below are a few other reasons to have a custom fabrication of your poly sewer jetter, hydroblasting, or street sweeper tank:

Large poly tank sizes

The custom fabrication of products allows the manufacture of substantial sizes of your custom sewer jetter tanks as well. Since there is no limit in size, the custom fabrication allows you to maximize the real estate/gallonage of fluid.

Custom shapes

One of the additional capabilities of CPF is that we provide custom shapes and designs of products and tanks. Our engineers and designers use CAD/CAM automation. Also, our CNC routers allow skilled fabricators to make a two-dimensional shape to fulfill nearly any requirement you may have.

Internal or integrated structure

We build polypropylene tanks with an integrated design that is almost impossible to do with other types of materials. The only method for the production of other types of tanks is from the tiring process of molding. On the other hand, in CPF tanks, we can build into the design all the compartments, work surfaces, mounting locations without any mold.

Low run quantities

This is one of our products and polytanks' most useful features as the capital investment for such tanks is not as extensive compared to molded tanks. New designs do not require a mold as we custom fabricate from raw sheets. You need new molds for fiberglass or rotomolded (Rotational Molding) products. This means that you'll pay a higher cost for your product. With the custom fabrication of poly, you'll not need a mold, resulting in cost savings.

Aesthetically Pleasing

The sewer jetter tanks made from polypropylene are aesthetically much better than other materials as they maintain a clean appearance and last for many years.
